The owner of this company is from the Paru Paru Community and maintains his membership. His first language was Quechua and didn’t speak Spanish until High School. Started leading treks in 2011. He has experience working in several companies.
Within our logo we included essential elements of the Andean belief. First are the sacred coca leaves, the Apu (mountains) which are our protectors, and the sun who is a god. Yachay is the Quechua word for learning; as people we keep learning from the day we are born until we pass from this world. We want to be a part of your journey of learning. We want to teach you about the Andean civilization, different history, cultures, etc
