About This Tour

Experience the untouched beauty of the Sacred Valley’s high-altitude lakes on this full-day Kinsa Cocha Tour. The journey begins with a 7:00 AM hotel pickup, followed by a scenic drive to Pisaq, where we will make a short stop to purchase snacks for the hike. We then continue 45 minutes to the trailhead near Azul Ccocha, the first of three spectacular Andean lakes. From here, we begin our moderate trek through rolling hills, pristine lagoons, and stunning mountain landscapes. After 2 to 2.5 hours, we arrive at Puma Ccocha, a lake surrounded by dramatic rock formations. The hike then continues downhill toward Kinsa Ccocha, but before reaching the final lake, we will stop for a homemade lunch with a local family, offering a taste of traditional Andean cuisine. The final stretch of the trek takes approximately 1 hour, during which you will have opportunities to spot alpacas, geese, and other Andean wildlife. The tour concludes with a relaxing drive back to Cusco, arriving in the late afternoon.
